Although I spent 2 years in Nam, 1967-1969, I hold nothing against the Country now. The people are wonderful and I love the markets.
Not very colorful clothing from when I was there! Just black "jammies". The aoi di for women was the exception!
The exclusion was the ao di! Just beautiful on the women! Not so colorful as now a days.
Wonderful series, the wife and I visit Vietnam at least once per year (her family is from there). We just there around Tet this year and I must admit...its a place that I miss when I'm not there

Well. I live in Thailand and I avoid market pictures. They never come out right. But a series of street portraits with shallow DOF is not a bad concept for a market.
