Excellent ! I know how difficult it is to follow these guys once they leave the hole. Difficult... but rewarding when you pull it off like these images. Again, excellent shots !!

Most impressive Rex, I've heard the shooting conditions have been terrible for shooting these little guys. Terrific job!
thanks so much, Louie. I guess it depends on when you go. I don't mind some rain.

These are all beautiful, Rex. The only one that seems dark is no. 7, but still very nice. Thanks for sharing!
Gero
Thank you Gero. I wanted one dark. In actuality, some of these are in complete darkness and others very dark.

Nice work Rex. This year has certainly offered some spectacular opportunities, and you've been able to execute. The brightness of your images is almost deceptive as I know the conditions you've been shooting in require the utmost discipline to achieve a sharp image, and you've been able to get the pair in one frame, both in the same plane of focus.
Great job! I may have to post my images here sometime in the near future

Wow!!! Those are simply incredible. Such beautiful birds captured perfectly!!
Rex you got some great shots with some really low shutter speeds and a lot with decent iso's, which is really hard to do. Screech owls are a real challenging subject, one of my favourites.
