I just saw the other thread, and then yours�wow!! I've shot in the Badlands several times and to see the aurora there and capture it so well with a good foreground is really special. You also have my vote this week!

Thank you! It's tough to want to drive the hour or so to the Badlands to shoot the aurora when you've done it so many times and had the aurora forecast bust. But I was adamant on not getting the same shots in an empty field and getting the Badlands shots I wanted.

Wow, what a stunningly beautiful display! Of course, as usual here in Indiana, whenever there is a beautiful night show we have clouds, so I'm a little bit jealous. I've seen pics from as far south as Florida from the same night, so I'm sure your display was breathtaking. Thank you for sharing this with us!
