For many years I had my own B&W darkroom. I spent countless hours working on prints, dodging, burning and trying to get the contrast right. Well digital imaging replaced my darkroom, but it never replaced the love I have for B&W prints. This one was from one of our family trips to Utah.
Great image and the processing is very interesting. After seeing this, makes me want to go back and spend some time converting some of mine. Thank you for sharing.
I'm not really a huge b&w fan and sometimes when I see that someone has posted a b&w photo, I'm hesitant to open it because it has to really 'pop' to interest me. Often they don't, but this one does for sure! Very nice job on creating a dramatic and beautiful image with so much depth and feeling. I hope you share more!
Im wishing those dead cedars weren't there, but ya got to work with what you are dealt. That sky is amazing, it looks like a flame coming off the tower.
