Much thanks to each and every one of you for taking the time to respond.

Jim - these were shot from a helicopter.

Phil - His name is Matthias Vogt and he runs the Volcano Heli company (https://volcanoheli.is) here in Iceland. He's originally from Liechtenstein and has extensive experience flying in Switzerland, Iceland, and Greenland. He's a friend, yes, but running a helicopter business in Iceland is an expensive undertaking. So while I get a 'friend' discount, the costs are still very high. Other than his piloting skills his value lies in his knowledge of the light and terrain. Once we decide where to go he knows what it is that I'm looking for without having to provide any detailed guidance.

Beautiful with a unique perspective as usual. I like the last one best. The light on the snowdrifts is gorgeous. Approximately how many meters do those rocks rise above the snow?

Dale - Thank you. Surprisingly, those ridges jutting out of a glacier have a term: Nunatak. This glacier rises to 925m above sea level (you can see the Greenland Sea in the final photo). My guess is the exposed part of the ridge is around 100m.
