This March and April, I wanted to bolster my studio sessions, so I decided to finally add atmospheric fog, gelled lighting, silk fabrics, motion blurs, light-painting, along with my normal edgy lighting portraits. I brought in three dancers to create samples, and here are the pics we came up with.
These are great, Ron. Especially the light painting, that one is my favorite. And the fact that he was able to keep so still in that pose is equally impressive.
All of these are really good. I especially love the third one. The dancer's form is beautiful, I love the shape and movement in the silk fabric, and great lighting. The white background was the perfect choice for it.
THanks! And yes, crazy he could hold still for 3-plus seconds with his leg up like that.
