A bit of a revival for the thread but if there are any members who have been waiting to buy a pgytech one mo v2 with the included shoulder bag - they’re discounting prime day on their site plus another 10%
Where this really shines is in the uk, where we get 0 breaks, it’s £187 with free shipping and non tax add on (this must be an error) so it checks in for the 35L at £150 to you (3-4 days shipping). About £100 cheaper than standard retail and £70 cheaper than prime.
Sadly I realised this and am sharing when the site sale only had 9 hours to go, so I’m not sure anyone will see this.
I’m not going to link lest people think I’m a shill, which is not the case. But you can google the site.
I hope that helps someone else who was hoping to get a bag on discount.
As to why that bag for me
Consistent positive reviews on comfort and durability.
I have smaller bags already like the excellent and disappointingly not further developed kata 210 dl, which is like new after 15 years if use, and a 6L sling. But I wanted a one day bag that I could pack with a body, three primes and a super zoom, accessories, one day of clothes, laptop and iPad and snacks. It needed to have side and top access.
The only downside is that I think this may be a front loader. But I couldn’t find anything else I liked after searching for months, that my budget allowed
Biggest difficulty for me is individual preference, I hated everything about the OneMo when I tried it. Didn’t like the feel of the dividers/my gear didn’t fit that well, bag was uncomfortable, shaped like a weird brick that didn’t sit well on me, but I know others who swear by it. ¯_(ツ_/¯

Agreed it’s very tough to recommend a bag. If my kata had side access I would probably have just about the perfect daily bag for me. It’s a real shame manfrotto bought them then basically didn’t evolve and ultimately may have killed the line. I think they still sell a rebranded version. It is a bit small for a day trip out of London and no side access but boy is it well built and does it maximise the space well.
If someone could point me to a bag with that light weight, comfort, durability, half cam half life, with side access - I’d jump on it.
Oh and it can’t have Peter McKinnon’s signature on it
I’ll definitely put the one mo through paces within the return window. I like their tech pouch a lot.

This was almost my exact list when I was looking, fwiw, I gave up on side access because most of my cameras were just ever so slightly too tall (I did like the prvke, but alas, the side opening wasn’t tall enough)
I ended up with a Tenba Fulton 14L (comes in a few sizes), and I’ve carried that bag all over the damn earth. It weighs almost nothing, has a nice split for personal stuff (I have a toddler and there’s no end to the amount of stuff I’ve crammed in the roll top).
It wasn’t the bag I was looking for when I set out to get one, but it’s been on my back more than any other in the last year or two by a LARGE margin.
