I basically try to never shoot anything that moves. After shooting with a GFX 100s for awhile and now with the Hasselblad X2D 100C, I had no interest in shooting moving subjects and was pretty sure I couldn't do it.
This gorgeous 13 year old's mom had the idea to do a volleyball themed session. It was SO much fun and I was so happy with how the images came out! We also were able to photograph her in a new dress from my client closet.
Well, I always pay attention when I see that you have a new post, and this one got my attention too. Some great shots here. I shy away from things like Volley Balls in my studio because of likely light damage, but it looks to me like you have solved this problem by just having her throw the ball up and then catch it. A Great Idea, for these shots. Every one turned out very well. She is a beautiful young girl too.
I have done several sports themes and they are always fun. Take some planning, but lots of fun. 9 absolutely captures the essence of volleyball. You even got the name on the ball showing. Very nice. All are good but that one stands out!!
