At this point in tome I would wait for the Z6III.

There is a very high probability that it wil feature much improved AF which is the only area where the Z6Ii isn’t excellent.

Playing with D780.
1st picture was taken with EFCS, QC, Live View. It's nice to use a DSLR camera like a MILC, with EFCS too!

Not sure if you made up your mind, but once I got the Z9 and shot mirrorless, I knew pretty much right away and sold all 3 of my D500's within 3 weeks of owning the Z9. The main reason was I knew I didn't want to go back and forth between the 2 AF systems and the OVF and EVF. Getting used to the live exposure in the EVF was hard for me to look back through the OVF and not get the real time exposure.

The only way I would go backwards is if i have any other Z camera and needed a fast action body for wildlife/BIF then I would have kept a D500.
