If you have been missing my participation its because I'm recovering from tendinitis in my left elbow. I'm finally able to drive and shoot again after almost 2 months though I'm taking it slow to avoid reinjury and also still in PT.

Best wishes Morris for recovery. I've been there. Old age in my case doesn't help aching joints, lighter weight kit is seemimgly required all the time!

I lightened a few years ago when I had pinched nerves. I shoot off a tripod most of the time and my mistake was shooting barn swallows in flight hand held and also shooting too frequently. Lessons learned

The X-H2 did not exist when I got the X-H2s. If I were choosing between the two today I'd still chose the X-H2s for the faster frame rate and faster focusing and tracking. I see little value in such high MP cameras.
Morris your bird shots using an adapted Nikon lens are amazing. Do you find using the Fringer that the autofocus performance is similar to native lenses?
I'm a Canon shooter and have the 100-400 II lens. I'd consider changing to Fuji, but most likely would have to adapt this lens rather than buy a native super telephoto.

Hi Dave- I’m not Morris but I use my Canon 100-400 with a Fringer pro adapter with my Fuji cameras with no issues. I’ve rented the Fuji version of this lens as well as the new 150-500. I’m sticking with my Canon.
