Morris, great images. The light and the action are very nice. And I really appreciate the background information you provide with your images. Obviously, careful observation and lots of patience. Thank you.

Lovely imaging Morris. This bird is so much fun.

Thank you Jeffrey,
I have a blast photographing them every winter. Each has a unique personality. This one seems to enjoy the reactions of the people watching and photographing it

What gorgeous light you captured with these wonderful poses! #2 amazes me in the body up to wing area, looks like storm clouds reaching upward and building into a thunderhead Love that shot and that little laser eye you caught.

Karl

Thank you Karl,
I timed my trip for the light and was rewarded. This bird seems to be island hopping and when I went yesterday it did not seem to be on one that we can get to. Hopefully it returns to one I can reach.

Thank you Jim,
The sunset light at the beach is simply incredible this time of year

The lighting is so sweet and the target, too, of course. Wonderful captures, Morris!

Thank you Joshua,
There is noting like a bit of pollution to warm the light up

I am happy "your" Snowy is there, "mine" (The one in SoCal, 2 blocks from home) left on Monday ... looking for whither (and snowed) pastures

Thank you,

This has been a special treat for you. It may return or be located someplace close. Our owl seem to have moved and nobody has seen it for a few days. In the past they tend to show up again though this is a very strange year with the unusualy warm weather

Very cool, Morris. Some crazy color in that setting sunlight. And thanks for the explanation also.

Thank you Dan,
The light was about as sweet as we get

Nice shots. In #3 she is making sure you are watching her

Thank you Joachim,
I believe you are correct. This owl seemed to react to the viewers reactions.

Thank you Chris,
They arrived very late this year due to the warmth

Thank you Chuck,
I've been photographing the snowy owls for many years and have learned a lot about them.

Thank you Louie,
The sweet light is caused by pollution at sunset. I wonder if our light will be more boring in 10 years or so.
