Super set John, beautifully exposed. You have to climb a tree to get that nice eye level perspective.

Thanks very much Dave. This nest was very popular because of that perspective. It was the best one I new about for a number of years. Heartbreaking to see it end.
Hey John these are truly a unique viewing point to see the eagles. That's a pretty good sized piece of lumber coming in on that first shot, beautiful capture on the wings! That second one is quite special, what an interaction of stares, cool shot. The third really is a nice comp with the gazes going in different directions, great eye contact on both really makes this shot. The last two show she's been sitting a while with the snow and frozen beak, dedication and she it tucked down low in that wind.
Super sweet set of nesting shots capped with some fresh snow

John, you took great advantage of the weather. Not often you see the female sitting on the eggs with snow on the nest. At least not here.

Thanks Tony. I knew they were on eggs, and when I saw the forecast calling for snow overnight. Got up early and drove 2hrs to the nest location. It was very cold and windy, but I was glad I made the effort.
