These are excellent John. 1 & 3 are my picks.
They are over a month late arriving on Long Island and I'm hoping they will make it down here so I can stand for hours in the cold behind my tripod waiting for it to open it's eyes or fly :-}

Thank you Morris. A true compliment coming from you , I have seen your snowy shots. I know all to well the part about standing in the cold for hours waiting for something to happen. The wind can be absolutely brutal on top of frigid temps.

Nice soft light and you can feel the chill in the air on these John. I like what the warm coloring of the brush adds to the image. Nice launch series, eyes look great, very pleasing presentation and let's hope are Snowy's arrive soon! My picks are #2,3 and #4 of the bunch
Thank you Karl. Here's hoping we both find some this year
John these are beautiful shots, you got a nice low perspective really sharp and nailed the exposure. I love the snowy owls, ours are just starting to show up around here.

Funny you said that, I drove to Nickerson for sunrise ,spent hours on dune rode, last year there were 5 out there. Not even a hint. Hope they come this year. Beautiful shots .
