A touch of snow among fall colors. Early in the fall colors season, and the right day at the 10,000 ft elevation.

Never a boring scene when reflections are possible.

Thank you Douglas, I have another photo from days before, when there were clouds, but I keep returning to this photo. Just a touch of clouds, I almost didn't take the photo but this was the peak time of sunrise light. The framing would be different with clouds, wider, more to the left.

I really like the way the view through the clear water is cut off by the reflection. And the fall colors really make the shot.

It's in Colorado by Ouray/Ridgway area.
Probably my 20th visit there over the years, never the same, always rewarding to photograph, calm most of the time, but there are exceptions.
