It has been a tradition here for a best of the year thread. Some of the people that have hosted this thread have chosen a format and limit to what is posted yet I'm going to leave that up to the individual. You can post all at once or have multiple posts in the thread.
I hope everyone enjoys the stunning images we all produce.

Thanks for kicking this off Morris. This is the thread I've always enjoyed viewing and it has likely become my annual favourite. Here are 4 photos I took in 2022.

Thanks for starting this Morris. This is always one of my favorite threads for the year. Always amazed to see what everyone else comes up with. The quality of the posters on here is always something to look up to.
Going with 6 since that is what the original post has. It is tough to narrow it down. I have gotten some grief for having too many images in my Nature & Wildlife posts
1. Not the most artistic hummingbird shot, but never caught this behavior in focus before.
2. Falcon fledges sparring. Wish the background was something other than blue sky, but oh well.
3. Least tern feeding.
4. Didn't have a chance to shoot much other than birds this year, but found time for this yawning fox.
5. Stick them with the pointy ends. Great horned owl talons. Idea copied from another poster on FM.
6. I had to pick one snowy or reddish egret shot for the year. Picked this one because it is a different perspective.
If you asked tomorrow, I might have a completely different set of "best" shots for the year.
