In one of those unusual rainy days (we got about 2" of rain in a single which is a lot for Phoenix, AZ). I headed out to Lost Dutchman State Park in search of the missing gold
I sure was greeted with an extremely beautiful / mystical low clouds trying to gobble up the Superstition Mountains.

I used to live near there, and am planning on a visit back there next month. Thanks for the gentle reminder of a fantastic place, thorough a set of fantastic images.
These are great! I'm partial to #3 myself butt would love to see #2 done in a black and white process. May take some work, but I really think the contrast with the fog, dark mountains and bright cactus would really make it pop.
