I share some photos of the birds that can be photographed in the 3 regions of Ecuador (coast, highlands, and Amazon).
One of the main characteristics of Ecuador is the variety of ecosystems thanks to the Andes Mountain Range that crosses the country from North to South. This results in a wide variety of birds to photograph and together with the different sites with banana feeders, hummingbird feeders, bird observation towers and photographic hides, make Ecuador one of the main destinations for bird photography.
I hope you can visit my home country and it will be my pleasure to help you if you ever need help.
All comments are welcome, the equipment I used was Sony A1 + Sony 200-600mm
Count me in as a fan of birds of Ecuador and looking at your lovely images it is really not hard to become one. Great job capturing and presenting those images, Javier!
Fantastic! What beautiful birds, perfectly captured. Thanks for the large images that let us enjoy the details. I like them all, but the first really strikes me.
Wow, Javier, these are all amazing, it doesn’t get better than that. Top notch images (as per your usual). Do you mind me (without any experience in that kind of photography) asking if you usually use flashlights for images like these or if you just rely on natural light?
Thanks for sharing,
