Count me in as a fan of birds of Ecuador and looking at your lovely images it is really not hard to become one. Great job capturing and presenting those images, Javier!

Hello friend, thank you very much for your kind words, Ecuador is a wonderful country and it is not difficult to fall in love with its birds.
Another excellent set with very impressive post processing. The Sword-billed Hummingbird will actually come to a feeder but it can't land and has to hover.

Fantastic! What beautiful birds, perfectly captured. Thanks for the large images that let us enjoy the details. I like them all, but the first really strikes me.
Thank you very much for your kind words, the first photo is very special for me since I consider it my best photo of this species of hummingbird. This hummingbird is found only in the highlands and is one of the iconic species of my country.
Greetings.
Javier
I usually use natural light and with hummingbirds fill flash or multiflash.
Cheers,
Javier

Wow, Javier, these are all amazing, it doesn’t get better than that. Top notch images (as per your usual). Do you mind me (without any experience in that kind of photography) asking if you usually use flashlights for images like these or if you just rely on natural light?
Thanks for sharing,
