About a week ago I took some impromptu portraits of one of my best friend's cousin, Jesseray, who I have wanted to photograph for some time now. Some may or may not care for his jewelry or his body modifications, but it's his personal style, and with portraits of friends I like to encourage them to style themselves how they like.

Lit using natural light. Photographed using a Canon 5D MKIII with a Canon EF 135mm f/2.8 Soft focus lens. I had the soft focus setting turned off completely, but I think this lens has an unique soft effect in back lit scenarios, at least compared to any other lens I've used.

Thank you so much! I made a color version as well, but was struggling with getting the tones just right.
