p.1 #1 · Brown Bears of Lake Clark National Park and Preserve.
22 years ago, my father took me to Alaska for the first time to go fly fishing. Now, I've been over 40 times, and go every chance I get.
I spend 2 weeks at Lake Clark National Park and Preserve each year, and hang out with the bears as I lead two groups. I love watching the cubs grow up year after year and certainly have a fond attachment to them. It is some of my favorite time each year.
I wanted to share a few images of these cuddly critters.

Hi Matt,
Always a delight to see your wonderful photos. Nice story about how you were introduced to Alaska. The cubs put on quite a show for you. The bear waring the leaf is hilarious!

Thanks Morris. I hope most get my joke with the leaf on the bear.
