The CV 21/3.5 is a great lens for the price and size but not as sharp as the Leica 21/3.4 SEM, especially at mid-zone and corners even stopped down. Both have great flare resistance and great contrast.
I haven't used the leica 21mm, i have the 24mm elmar, and the 21mm skopar.
I would say the leica is a bit better, this compared to the 24mm, but not by much. I am actually so satisfied with the 21mm that i am thinking of getting more voigtlander lenses instead of getting the 21mm elmar.
