This year has been the best in many years Parul!
I was out at sunrise and the sun was just "climbing" down the mountain.
This mountain was a "stronghold" during the Civil War and you can park and hike to the top.
The views are breathtaking.
The lone red maple tree was surrounded by evergreens and stood out like a "sore thumb"!
Thanks!
Dan

Dan,
You served the full Fall flavour. The first image is a real beauty. The final one, too.
Thanks Rajan!
This Fall has been the best in a very long time!
Yes #1 was a real shock to drive up on and see! I was on an olde dirt/gravel fire road in the mountains and the reservoir that sends water to the city near me was there. Luckily I had my camera with me. Would have like to get a tad closer but that would mean getting wet!
Dan
Beautiful captures Dan. That first one is super, the mixed color leaves tight to shoreline are spectacular in this image. I like the long shadows and view in the barn picture. Lovely look around in your area buddy!
Very nice set. Although the barn shot is technically not a landscape, I really don't care. I love the textures and shadows on that wall. I also think the angle rising from left to right adds a nice compositional element, not to mention the broken fence rail.
