Taken at the Dussehra Festival, in Himachal Pradesh. As I sat around the fire with the Sadhus, I felt a great kinship with them. I must have been one in my previous lives.

Very well done!

Thanks a lot Dan. I finally decided to use a normal lens, instead of vintage manual ones. Frankly, it is a relief! But thank you for your previous support as well!

Charles,
My eyesight is not good. AF is great but sometimes I dont trust the viewfinder so I switch to "M". The "beep" gives me a bit more peace of mind that the focus is correct. My thumb is always on the "AF" button besides the shutter.
Great compositions!

Thanks, Dan. Actually, the problem with vintage manual lenses was that I was too wrapped up with accurate focusing at the expense of paying attention to good composition. Also, if there was any movement by the subject, accurate focusing was nearly impossible. It was just too much work. But I know what you mean. It is a bit like driving manual. Once you get used to that level of control, you usually don't want to go back to automatic.

Fantastic pictures and amazing sharpness. What camera and lens combination did you use?
Thanks! I used the Sony FE Zoom 24-70mm f/2.8 GM. I think I will buy the new version because this lens I am using is quite heavy. But the results are great.
