I was honored to be asked to photograph a meet & greet with President Biden during his visit to Portland this weekend. Had to set up lights the day before and make sure the Secret Service was ok with the setup. It was a very stressful, but exciting and rewarding experience. Afterwords, I was able to take a few of the speech he gave.
Also got the meet the President's chief photographer, Adam Schultz, who walked right up to me and gave me a big handshake. He was incredibly nice and supportive. I handed him my camera at the end and he snapped the picture of me.
The best moment of the meet & greet was the young man, Ansel, who the President played with for a minute. There were big smiles by everyone in the room. Ansel's dad gave me permission to post the pic.
Not interested in anyone's political opinion, just wanted to share that I got to do something cool.
VERY, VERY KOOL...Nice work and very lucky/skilled to get to do this.
I was lucky enough to get out and shoot air force two last year is all but no people.
Definitely one for the books for ya on this one...Congrats.
It's exciting to photograph a US President. When I was a professional photographer, I had the privilege to photograph both President Reagan and President Carter and their respective wives. Both Presidents were friendly and easy to deal with.
