Auna is the best friend of one of my closest friend's daughter. I've known her for almost ten years since she was 13 and have always encouraged her to get into modeling and acting, but her focus wasn't really there until more recent years. I offered to help her build her portfolio this Summer and am so happy to find that she's an absolute natural in front of the camera.
I did several TF shoots over the last few months including this shoot with Auna, but haven't had much extra time to get them edited due to having to focus more on client work. Ideally I'd have lots more from these shoots to share here but unfortunately I've been moving at a snail's pace when it comes to editing. Admittedly I'm also struggling with getting the color tones from this particular shoot just right, but sometimes "almost there" has to be good enough otherwise I'd never get to a finished image. Normally I would see how black and white might work if I'm struggling with getting the colors right, but for obvious reasons I think too many black and white images would be doing this particular model a disservice.
These two photos were done on the same day but in completely different natural lighting conditions. Matching their color edits wasn't going to work out, so I went in different directions for the edits. One with a more "fairy-tale" sort of look, and one with a more natural look. Photographed using a Canon 5D MKIII with a Canon EF 135mm f/2.8 Softfocus lens, with the softfocus feature disabled (I don't think I'll ever bring myself to use this feature lol).
