From a recent shoot I did a few days ago at Rooster Rock in the Columbia River Gorge. Jules is a dancer, and while I also took several photos showcasing her dance skills and showcasing the beautiful gorge, I feel that this particular shot is a stand-alone from the rest of the shoot. I might post the others at another time in the future, but for now I really only want to show this one.
Photographed using a Canon 5D MKIII with a Canon EF 135mm f/2.8 Softfocus lens (softfocus disabled), and natural light.
I agree completely with Derek - a totally convincing evocation of peaceful relaxation ... and in contrast to some more excited attempts, perhaps also of genuine feminine strengths and qualities (if one is allowed such comments nowadays !).
