Didn't see a thread yet for images from the GM II, so let's get one rolling.
Overall, kind of indifferent on it over the Sigma 24-70. Haven't had an extended trip with it for the weight savings to be really apparent, but I do love an aperture ring.
Thanks for posting, some nice pictures here !
I just ordered the GMII this morning. It will replace the Tamron 28-75 G2 if it performs well in my tests. I'm getting it for the 24mm and aperture ring.
I love shooting pictures in SF too, different types of subjects (I have a shared album if you are interested)

Anyone else have some photos of this lens? I’m strongly considering it, but would love to see more
Images OF the lens or TAKEN WITH the lens?
BTW, that lens is named the lens of the year at Dpreview. I go there very infrequently but somebody posted about the camera of the year and further down they referred this lens as the lens of the year.
Here is another one taken with the lens…but I don’t have any of the lens .

Stunning photo, Joshua!
Here's one I posted in the big thread. I have more from my recent trip to Taiwan. Still editing...

With Adobe still not providing a raw lens profile for the 24-70 GM II what are you guys doing for distortion and vignetting corrections?
- Eyeballing it with the sliders.
- Using the 24-70 GM I profile.
- Going uncorrected with just the embedded Sony CA corrections.
- Shooting jpegs only and archiving the raws for a future time.
- Using something other than an Adobe raw processor that has the full corrected lens profile.

So far I haven’t done anything. I just take the images as I find them raw and develop to taste in Lightroom. I haven’t worried about it.

Thank you very much, Hodaka! That’s a great image from Taipei; I trust that you had a good time there.

Frankly, it doesn’t bother me much, if any, for landscape. But for more revealing cityscape, I use the profile of the previous version. And again, the output looks just fine.
Hera are 2 images taken at wide open from a recent visit to Las Vegas to demonstrate my point…

I was using the Mk I profile for a bit, but found it made the images a bit too bright. I just leave it as-is (no profile applied) and patiently wait for Adobe to get their act together.
