Just starting to work on some long exposures. This one was 15sec ISO 500 a Breakthrough ND 6x filter. Certainly a tremendously different processing than I am used to in bird photography! Any suggestions and critiques are beneficial so don't hesitate
Thanks

Very pleasing image. I agree with junglialoh, the hues and tone are good. I have only stacked images for long exposures and I always found I never felt like I had too many, so I would say you could try a longer exposure or repeat the 15 second exposure and stack the images just to smooth the water a little bit more. But I think that’s just more of a stylistic thing. Nice work!

Thanks for the suggestion and comments. I realize that I need a longer exposure to accomplish what I want. I hadn't given stacking any thought so appreciate your suggestion.

Very pleasing image Karl (from a fellow Ohio resident). Love the peaceful feel, the leading lines, and the light & color the eye travels too.
Hey thanks Ross from Ohio It was enjoyable to work with the simple elements and put it with the light, or lack of it Appreciate the feedback.

I like this Karl. I might add that the sky in the upper right is a touch hot but it's far enough out of the main comp to have little effect. Nice soothing image Karl!

It is a soothing image. The one thing you could have done while composing is to eliminate that foreground rock at the bottom left corner.
A keen eye Rajan, that bottom rock area was cropped to improve but cropping more would not have worked so it really needed to be addressed in actual composition. Thank you for reinforcing that as I was not satisfied with it being there so I minimized the best I could without reverting to processing it out.
Thank you for your input

Good call Greg, could not find a way to calm that bright area down and not have it look odd, I certainly tried! Thanks for your observation buddy!

Karl, calm is a perfect title for this image. Beautiful capture and I like the small but efficient reflection of light. Good work. 👍🏻
Yes there was a nice faint glow that carried right up and onto the bottom right rock. Thank you for the nice comment.

Looks great to me...love the mood
Although, I did look closely expecting a bird somewhere
Son of a gun, there was a bird that landed during the exposure on the big rock and took off as quickly so no image recorded, so technically there was a bird in the image ....... just imagine it Thanks and that gave me a chuckle!
