Thanks Dan.
She and Surfer gave us quite a scare this weekend. Thought we were going to lose them both for about 24 hours. Very weird.

Yes indeed.
My wife has been the office manager at a local veterinary hospital for 30 years so our kids get top notch care. She was panic stricken because, even after emergency blood work looking specifically for toxins, nobody could come up with any answers. Blood work showed nothing abnormal.
They are back to normal today but we still don't know why they both suddenly lost all functions in the rear half of their body. Couldn't get up much less stand. They also had that look on their faces like they were in a daze....like a bad trip....which is one sign of liver failure. We've lost one due to that disease already...not a pretty sight.
I had seen them both rooting around and eating something in the grass earlier in the day (they do that a lot....eat grass and dirt....I don't get it) but I checked and didn't see anything out of the ordinary. But we think there had to have been something toxic to them in there somewhere somehow. That's the only thing we can come up with.
They are both still on the watch list however....just to be sure.
Yes keep an eye on them for awhile Larry!
We have lousy vets around me unless you spend $$thousands of dollars at the Vet ER. But those ER docs do not take patients!
We lost all 3 of our children to lousy breeders and terrible vet care!
I am so happy it appears to be a short timed event.
Give them a hug for me please!
