Yes, you are fortunate to be born in Costa Rica and live there.
Costa Rica is one of nature's spectacles. But it could have gone the other way. I am thinking now of Haitian poverty and the Myanmar coup. Or a mining company might have destroyed those Costa Rican mountains by now.
Ecotourism and National Parks are the best hope for wildlife. And then I think you still must have apparently clean CR politics.
I believe most scientists agree that the Blue Whale is the largest animal to ever live on the planet, up to 200 tons and over 100 feet in length. And don't they still winter around that thermal dome? Sadly, it is in danger of extinction. With all the problems the biosphere has now, the biomass of the krill populations hold up or...
Brilliant, agree that Costa Rica is an amazing place to photographing birds. I visited there a few years and was hosted by Cope in Guapiles. Really amazing collection of images. Bruce
Beautiful set! A good friend just moved to CR last week. And I would in a heartbeat. Not only for the nature that is there but for many other reasons. Thanks for sharing!
How is the wildlife fairing in your country with the drought?

Stunning mid-flight captures! Takes a lot of patience and skillset to pull this off, and you obviously have those, plus good editing/processing skills. Great stuff!
Gorgeous images! Costa Rica is such a wonderful country (maybe except for the roads ). It's a photographer's paradise, but shooting conditions can be difficult with the canopy. You've been able to get some amazing shots. Congrats!
