Dan, thank you very much! I saw only these two there but they didn’t hunt, well, they just stood around and didn’t do much. The owl population is definitely on the decline…. . I heard of another location and I went to check it out yesterday. It is at the edge of a housing development and the developer apparently had to keep that area undeveloped as a preserve but now, there is not a single owl there to be seen. When I got there, I saw a hawk perched on a tree. I immediately knew that there would not be any owl left there…. .
