P.S. last one added for Karl . At first when I saw the Queen, I thought it was Monarch as it flitted by. They are very similar but the Queen has different marking and the white strip down the body.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

I have not heard or seen that I know of a Queen Butterfly, so thank you and an excellent image. These all are fascinating but it is #8 that is outta this world beautiful
Such wonderful work at this smallish in size level, nice comps, great color and sweet details make these POP!!

Neither had I until I started trying to get the ID. I, took thought it was a Monarch.
