p.1 #1 · How's the Sony ZV E10 for pictures compared to the a6000?
I've had an a6000 since shortly after they were released, and have taken tens of thousands of pictures with it. I've been really happy with it, with my only real gripe being the stupid tiny record button on the back being a pain-in-the-ass to use.
Unfortunately, it's slowly starting to glitch and I've got a couple of scratches on the shutter, so I'm looking at upgrading. I've got 3 lenses - the 2 kit lenses (16-50mm and 55-210mm) and a Rokinon 12mm F2.0.
For photos, I mostly shoot wildlife and waterfalls, and occasionally some shots of my nieces and nephews. However, I'm looking to do more video now, and so I've been considering the Sony ZV E10. I've watched a few videos on YouTube, and it appears to be much better than the a6000 for video, but I'm wondering how it compares for shooting pictures, both in ease-of-use and functionality, as well as in picture quality.
Can any of you comment on how the Sony ZV E10 compares with the Sony a6000 for pictures?
p.1 #2 · How's the Sony ZV E10 for pictures compared to the a6000?
ZV-E10 is a big step up in IQ (really anything above the A6000 is). Much less noisy at high ISO and in shadows at all ISOs. If you don't use the EVF much and don't mind a flip out screen, you probably won't have an issue shooting with it. Sure the controls are a bit rearranged, but most are still there, and AF is miles ahead, both in performance and ease of use.
