Hmm…doesn’t sound good. Might wanna check and make sure all the screws on the camera mount and lens mount are properly torqued.
I had a Metabones adapter once that was so tight I was afraid I was going to break something. I chalked it up to poor manufacturing tolerances. I tried to live with hoping it would loosen up over time. Passed my return window. Unfortunately, it never loosened up. Ended up never using it.
If all the screws are tight, I’d consider exchanging it. Mine 24-70mm GM II is no tighter than any my other lenses.
Of course there are slight differences lens to lens. But it shouldn’t be a chore to mount a lens. Just my opinion.
