2 weeks ago, I attended that workshop with Sacha Ruede, known for his punchy contrasty images shot in lost places. Pictures of women wearing wedding dresses in crumbled hotels, abandoned churches, etc.
The workshop had the goal of learning how to work with difficult lighting in high contrast scenes.
There were only 4 attendees and we had two models to work with: Chiara and Christina.
The morning was spent getting to know the other participants and learning about the theory behind it all. (I kinda already knew everything already, but it's always nice to get a refresher from someone who earns money with that.)
We had Pizza for lunch and the two ladies arrived right on time.
The first two hours, we worked in a group, covering different sets and ideas of Sacha's.
The last hour was used for 1-on-1 sessions. Every participant got 15 minutes with each model to realise ideas.
My big problem with photography is rarely the technical aspect and mostly the creative one, so it wasn't a big surprise that I didn't really come up with anything creative on my own.
I just put Christina in the same white fluffy skirt that Chiara had worn before and made her walk alongside the train.
Laying on my back to get a low vantage point with the 105mm f/1.4E, this ended up being one of my favorite images of that day. (Too bad I missed the timing on her foot..)
My "creative" idea was to have her look out the train window.
Still love the results.
I agree with Dave! Your 2 women are so naturally beautiful! Yes they have make-up but not over done! Very sensual in very many ways!
Very well done! I hope you will post more when you get them!

The second set with Christina was at a window. She was standing on a little wooden box because the window is so high above ground.
One of the attendees of the workshop asked me if I have a spare camera with me. Luckily enough, I had brought my Leica R5 with me, because I wanted to shoot some Acros 100 with the Summicron-R 90mm f/2
He asked if we could hand the camera to Christina and I was excited about the idea.
I mean, I was really disappointed. Because it wasn't my own idea. And especially so, because I have MUCH prettier cameras at home for this look (A Yashica TLR, or the silver Pentax Spotmatic).
Anyways, I handed her that camera and we told her to look out the window as if she was observing things out there.
Once again, the colour version turned out very much to my taste
Christina got really nervous at the end, afraid to drop the camera. She asked where she should put it and everyone started laughing. Sacha joked about throwing it out the window since it's only a "shitty Leica". Everyone was laughing and I had to capture that image. Probably Christina's favourite of the workshop, haha.
That's all.
Hope you like them
Christina is an amazing model to shoot with.
I met her when she arrived and we got along right away.
