Me and my son recently took a trip to Monterey to ride Laguna Seca Raceway. We were there a bit early to explore Monterey and Big Sur. Recently got my R3 and took some test shots with it... I am very pleased with how easy it is to shoot. Thanks for looking. Full set can be seen here https://www.joeltpowell.com/Laguna-SecaBig-Sur/
That is such a beautiful stretch of coastline! Looks like you had some choice weather too! By “ride” I assume you mean motorcycles. I bet that was a blast!

Thanks for sharing.
Thank you, it is amazing and so is the motorcycle riding. A couple of test shots of my son on track for you!
That’s awesome Joel! Great shots! Thanks so much for sharing. That must be quite the experience. I’ve only ever ridden Laguna Seca in games like Grand Turismo. That one hairpin can get you into trouble. Although, one probably drives a little more recklessly in a video game!😅

Thanks Nick, that’s the same thing my friend said. He hated playing Grand Turismo because of that track and turn 11. It is a very challenging track to ride and it’s fast. My laps were in the mid 1:40s on the second day we rode. We are going back in August to ride again. Trying to get my laps in the high 1:30s. Lap record is low 1:20s. Long way to go but I’m up for a challenge. Riding the track with my son is quite the experience. Not many people get to ride with their kids, so definitely very special.
Definitely a “bucket list” type of thing. Thanks again for the kind words!
