California quail in-flight is something new to me and what a beauty that is, Pius! All images are exquisite and yes, those of the AKs are impressive. Taken with the GM 400mm or GM 600mm or mixed? Regardless, they earned MV!

Thanks Dave, I was impressed with how fast the California Quail fly's especially of the get go.... for a fair sized bird it moves quick but the Sony a1 + 400 2.8 had no issue keeping up...
I'll say this much. Your consistent... your images are always excellent. This set is right there with all your post. All beautiful images, but the Kestrel and lizard shots are fantastic.

Pius, the Sony A1 and 400 2.8 kept up with you! come on you still have to put the target in the frame and stay on it, a ton of credit to you for all your flight shots
