That’s a beautiful capture! I went to white pocket a month ago and that evening the sunset was great but the winds were blowing like 50 miles per hour and it was totally miserable. Was unable to photograph anything due to all the sand blowing. Will have to make a trip up there again.

I complain because I only had few minutes worth good light through
and i capture 2-3 good pictures and i was running to make it 😂
but i got a-lot of B&W next day with nice sun came after sunrise
You really have to spend days there to get a nice picture
or you have to get lucky like i did

Nice shot but I agree, people need to post bigger sizes. It is 2022 with most of us shooting high MP cameras. Maybe I don't know something as I am just a hobbyist.

What's going on with the light in this photo? The sky make it seem like the sun is behind the scene, but the rocks make it seem like the sun is left of the camera?
I love the composition, but am not a fan of the shallow depth of field.
