No, those are small peaks, not Krakatindur. See attached map where I have marked these locations. Krakatindur is near the Hekla volcano (top left), the photo location is near the Mýrdalsjökull glacier (bottom right).

No, those are small peaks, not Krakatindur. See attached map where I have marked these locations. Krakatindur is near the Hekla volcano (top left), the photo location is near the Mýrdalsjökull glacier (bottom right).

The contrast between the green and black is truly wonderful. The first image is my favorite, but all of them are excellent.
