Went up again in a friend's Piper Cub to see two of my favorite mountains, Baker and Shuksan, up close. Two cameras, GFX100s and Sony a7r2. Most of the shots are from the GFX.
I'm right in there with you, Mike. Two of my favorite mountains, too! You experienced some beautiful light on those mountain peaks. What a view up above! Most excellent!
Most excellent Mike - two of my favorites too, covered with ski worthy snow! Thanks for the large images to drool over. I'd love to see that north face of Shuksan shot printed huge. You really lucked out with the weather and light.
Love the bonus shot of Shuksan. If you look close you can see ski tracks to the right of the curving line in the snow on the left (northwest couloir) - one of best difficult ski lines on the mountain.
The skiers whose tracks you captured would likely be interested in seeing the shot, perhaps purchasing it. If I'd skied that line, I know I'd be psyched to have your photo hanging on my wall. Backcountry skiers commonly take pride in their line and tracks. To have the perspective you captured is really rare, and special. Probably could find them via the Turns All Year Facebook group.
The slides off Table look impressive, but they are actually "point releases," not a lot of snow coming down. :-)
