A friend and I ventured off to a different location on the pond, which was a fun morning. I was watching this Cormorant nearby constantly diving and kept coming up with little fish and swallowing them really fast. I focused on him and hoping he would come out with a bigger fish, sure enough he did and starting fumbling it. The photos tell the story.

Those are great Chris! Excellent action moment captured and gosh the coloring and the eye of the Cormorant is impressive too.

I can never get this close to cormorants was this from a kayak/boat/sup? Great shots and fantastic colors especially the eyes.
