Shot deep in the jungles of Borneo....., just kidding!
Shot just off the road in Bidwell Park in Chico, CA. in about 2015.
Megan and I had been planning a shoot for a while and she promised to go out and buy a new bathing suit for the occasion.
I'll willing to bet any old bathing suit would have been just fine!!! LoL
Using natural mottled late afternoon sunlight coming through the trees.
As always, any critique or thoughts are very welcome.

Appreciate it John!

As a suggestion, the shadows from the trees are a bit blocky and create some harsh contrast - especially on her face. Perhaps look for more uniform open shade or use a large diffuser to soften the light.

Russ, thanks so much for the suggestions. Yes the light is pretty contrasty. I did add a small amount of fill light but could used a bit more. I was fighting the setting sun which a pretty short time later was gone. A big scrim for diffusion would have been the hot ticket!
To be honest I hate shade. I wanted a little bit of a dramatic look which shade just can't give. When we're dealing with quick changing natural light in the wild so many times we;re lucky just to get a decent shot we can use! Thanks
