Well, I took the first full moon on the 1st of August, 2023 and then took a second full moon on the 31st August, 2023 thus getting both of the full moons in one month and the second being the veritable "Blue Moon". Interestingly, when I took the photo of the full moon on the 1st August, I had no idea I was shooting the first of two full moons for August, it was just pure luck that I decided to take that first shot.

1st August, 2023 - Z8 + 800mm f6.3 PF, 1/500s f/6.3 at 800.0mm iso180 handheld.

31st August, 2023 - Z8 + 800mm f6.3 PF, 1/160s f/6.3 at 800.0mm iso140 monopod.

When all the grass is dead and brown at the end of summer, it starts getting really hard to spot things that are also brown.

But perseverance (sometimes) pays off

Then the fog comes in and it gets dark instantly.

So then I'm shooting 1/100 stop or less at 800mm handheld. Ideal conditions lol

. But thankfully this is no problem for the Z8/800
