A great series of images. Caddo Lake is a magical landscape filled with an infinite number of compositions. I like all of the images, but the first one is my favorite. Well done!
I missed this the first time round - absolutely stunning...1 and 3 in particular (2 is also great but the others are less usual), and of course the heron in 4 is excellent too. Really impressive.

Honestly, I don't think about it that much. I grew up fishing with my dad so just leaving the dock heading out brings back memories. But most boat launch areas don't look like this area It is certainly the least aesthetically pleasing of the bunch, but I just liked it so tossed it in the post.
Very, very nice series. Caddo Lake has always piqued my interest, but I have yet to pay it a visit. Is it possible to get the kind of shots you got without going out onto the lake? I do not own a boat, and don't really feel like renting one. I haven't make the trip because I don't know what kind of images I'd be able to capture from the shore. Any advice you can share would be greatly appreciated!
That’s awesome! I find it very interesting how photographs can be perceived differently by each individual. Thanks so much for sharing a little of why #5 may mean something to you.

You will not be able to get shots Like these from the shoreline. There are even better areas than this that I did poorly capturing and didn’t share. You really want to get a pontoon guide (big cypress tours is great). It is cheap to get a guide and boat so you can just focus on shooting.
