Vstone90 - Talking about Iceland's weather is always a tricky matter. Generally at this time, winter is on its way out in the Reykjavík area (but not in the North and in the Westfjords which will still feel winter-like for a few more weeks) and things are starting to turn around. "Spring" (if you can call it that) is very brief here and by mid-May, summer will be announcing itself. With the winter storms behind us, this is usually a calmer period. But this is a rock in the middle of the North Atlantic, and so wind, gentle and not-so-gentle, is a constant presence. Best to follow the Icelandic Met website for real-time Wind, Temps, and Precipitation updates -

Thank you for the response! I visited Alaska and found the pictures of the city very similar! I can't wait to see your take of Reykjavik in the summer!
These are pretty darn cool. I like #2 of the houses/apartments with red roofs. Some the snow has slid off and most it has not. Creates some very interesting patterns. Thank you.
