Loyuk was a model that I did a test shoot with a couple of weeks ago. I recently moved back near a very large nature park that is one of my favorite locations to do photo shoots at, but funnily enough I'm always drawn to the geometry of the only man made structures in the area and sometimes the nature gets completely overlooked.
Lit using natural light and a reflector. Photographed using an original Canon 5D with a Canon 85mm f/1.8 lens.
Another great set. Your post work is impressive, and as impressive as all these images are, I am drawn to the candid smile. I also love how your work demonstrates perfectly that all you need to create great images is a simple camera and simple light.

Thank you so much Derek. I like to think I make the most with what little I have. That outlook seems to do well for me in many aspects of my daily life.
Nice job! I like the blown look in these - just right without going OTT. #3 motion blur, oops! I've recently started using ShaprenAI (in PS as a plug-in) and been quite impressed with it saving more focus imperfections on images than I would have ever thought possible. It's real slow however....

Thank you.
I don't much care for the motion blur either, but it wasn't such a glaring issue to me that I wanted to fix or skip over the photo. I like the emotion conveyed in that shot and felt it trumped a small bit of motion blur.
