I appreciate that! I actually hiked up with my wife in knee deep snow with camera gear, ski's and poles. In some places you had to jam the toe of the boots into the snow to get good footing. However, skiing down was much easier.
I've seen a bit of the VT mountains but can't picture where this might be.
Where and when was this? Just curious.
This is a location near an area called the Rock Garden. It's above the ski areas near Mt. Mansfield and only accessible by foot or "skinning' as they say.
