p.1 #1 · Victoria Falls - true wonder of the world
Victoria Falls was one of the most stunning places I've ever been, and I managed to get maybe 3 good photos from the trip
Anyone who has been knows that it's incredibly difficult to get good photos because of the massive amounts of mist. But I managed to get a good shot (I think) from the bridge connecting Zambia to Zimbabwe. I wish I had an ND filter with me to get a nice slow exposure of the waterfall, but alas. Next time!

Did you have a tripod to shoot from? If so, you could have taken several exposures once after the other and then used the Stack Mode in Photoshop to get the smooth water slow exposure effect.

Beautiful, thanks for the large version to enjoy the wonderful detail you captured. I like the smooth water effect sometimes, but in this case I think your shutter speed was spot on to get some flow effect in the falls, but good detail in the rapids.

I did not, I don't bring my tripod with me enough. So I don't get to take advantage of the G9 High-res mode either. I got a better backpack so I'll start bringing with me in the future though.

Wow that is fantastic! The trees provide a sense of scale. The Falls are tall and wide! I really like the water cascading over the rocks at the bottom of the falls. Very nicely done.
I hope to visit Africa again. It is beautiful. Stay well.

@novalaker this is a nice composition, and I agree with Jim that your shutter speed works really well here, it helps convey the weight and the power of the waterfall especially near the bottom of the falls. Well done!
