A few details:
We started to see how the orange sand was coming into the scene, and panned our cameras with the waves to both get just a little intentional blur (for a more painterly in-camera effect) and color variation.
Also processed only with Adobes unprecedented quality Raw on Raw Layer workflow.
BTW, that wonderful Marlon Holden interview, and 2 videos about both the incredible quality benefits of using a Linear Profile in Lightroom (or Camera Raw) and how to make them in just seconds is now on my YouTube page. ✌🏼

Excellent, I love your work.
Learning ... I used to use way too long shutter speeds for waves, now thanks to you I know the perfect settings
Thank you very much. There are so many variables! I have been shooting 1000-3000 per shoot for about 3 years now and depending on a whole host of factors like angle, focal length, wave speed, effect, wind, weather conditions (and more) I am usually anywhere from 5 seconds to as fast as 15th or a second. That is 20 different shutter speed options! All creating different effects! So getting it just the way you want may be a learning curve! Just experiment and break the "rules."

Yes!
I am glad that digital cameras let us do exactly that without worrying about wasting film
And thanks again, your work really do motivate us to get better ...
Thank you for posting this beautiful, beautiful photograph, Mark! The color rendition and the detail of the water is off the charts! Your photography brings out what the natural eye misses in the rush of the moment! Fantastic work!!!

Outstanding as always Mark... On a side note, I just listened to an old podcast with Robert Park and You from back in 2019. Interesting stuff right there. I will be out in Vegas in November and plan on checking out Nevada Art Printers
Beautiful shot, Mark. You're getting really good at panning the waves! Curious about one technical thing. Do you use the Enhance Raw Details feature in Lightroom / ACR?
