I recently went on a winter Yellowstone trip with fellow FMer, shibutg and came away with some images that I quite liked.

Here are a collection of my favorites.

Golden Eagle in Heavy Snow on a Carcass. Used two stacked TCs, the EXIF reads incorrectly (supposed to be 2400mm)

Yellowstone in winter is a great trip. I have gotten lucky on two occasions to book onto a group snowcoach trip and ended up with a private tour. Such a unique environment to see. Nice shots, jp

Never been there in the winter (on my bucket list), but in June 2001 when it snowed a couple of feet overnight, and in 2016 in July when it snowed "some". Along with photos like yours, that certainly gave me the appetite for more

Alphonsus - The Larmar valley is amazing. Really like #5, bison face full on, covered with snow and ice.

Alphonsus these are really nice images. Shooting at 2400mm is pretty wild. I was debating getting the RF 2.0TC for my RF 600 F4 but using 2 stacked is wild.

Some really "cool" shots ... love the frozen whiskers on the sea otter.

All great. My personal favorite is the lone bison landscape with the tree on the right. Simply beautiful.

Love them all! My favorite is the lone bison with tree on the right! I think we may have been there the same time. The otter was very entertaining and there were the two ram carcasses with the Golden and coyotes. Were you there for the -35 morning?

Nice pictures. Looks like you used almost every lens except the 100-500! Did you find one particularly good?
